Editorial Policy

Our commitment to independence, accuracy and transparency

World Mediation Forum is committed to providing independent, accurate and trustworthy rankings of mediation services across 10 countries. This editorial policy outlines the principles and standards that govern our content creation, research methodology and relationships with mediation providers.

1. Editorial Independence

Freedom from Commercial Influence

World Mediation Forum maintains complete editorial independence. Our rankings and reviews are based solely on our established methodology and are not influenced by commercial relationships, advertising arrangements or financial incentives from mediation providers.

No Pay-for-Placement

Mediation services cannot pay to be included in our rankings or to achieve higher positions. All rankings are determined through objective evaluation criteria as outlined in our methodology.

Transparent Affiliate Relationships

Links to mediation service websites use the “nofollow” attribute and do not influence search engine rankings. We do not receive commissions or referral fees from mediation providers featured in our rankings.

2. Research and Evaluation Standards

Rigorous Methodology

Our rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation framework that includes:

  • Mystery enquiry response times and quality
  • Public review analysis from verified sources
  • Professional accreditations and memberships
  • Service range and specialisations
  • Transparent pricing and fee structures
  • Geographical coverage and accessibility

Verification Process

All information included in our rankings is verified through multiple sources, including official provider websites, regulatory bodies, professional associations and direct test enquiries. We update our research regularly to ensure accuracy.

Objective Criteria

Our evaluation criteria are objective, measurable and consistently applied across all mediation providers. Full details of our methodology are publicly available and transparent.

3. Accuracy and Corrections

Commitment to Accuracy

We strive for complete accuracy in all published content, including service descriptions, contact information and ranking positions. All content undergoes editorial review before publication.

Corrections Policy

If we identify errors in our published content, we will correct them promptly and transparently. Material errors will be acknowledged in the corrected content. Users and mediation providers can report inaccuracies through our contact form.

Regular Updates

Rankings and service information are reviewed and updated on a rolling basis to reflect changes in service quality, provider details and market conditions.

4. Conflicts of Interest

Disclosure Requirements

Our editorial team members must disclose any personal or financial relationships with mediation providers. Team members with conflicts of interest are excluded from evaluating those specific providers.

Financial Relationships

World Mediation Forum does not accept payment from mediation providers for inclusion in rankings, reviews or editorial content. Our business model is based on providing valuable information to users seeking mediation services.

5. Relationships with Mediation Providers

Fair Evaluation

All mediation providers are evaluated using the same criteria and methodology, regardless of their size, location or commercial relationships. We do not give preferential treatment to any provider.

Provider Communications

Mediation providers may contact us to report factual inaccuracies in their service information. All such requests are reviewed and verified independently. Providers cannot influence their ranking position through direct communication.

Complaints Process

Mediation providers who believe they have been unfairly evaluated may submit a formal complaint. All complaints are investigated thoroughly and responded to within 14 working days.
